![]() I am feeling really, really down about this. Right now it is raised and red with blistering and weeping going on. The burn is along my jaw line, around the right side of my mouth, and on my sensitive neck. What can I do to stay on top of this and prevent as much scarring as possible? I do have Avene Cicalfate cream and have been applying that along with the burn cream. I was simply given burn cream and sent on my way. I did go to the ER because I had blistering and peeling, and I've never had a burn that bad before. Just when I thought I was getting my skin under control and everything was looking good - I was careless cooking dinner and splashed a bunch of scalding oil/butter all over MY FACE and neck.
